March 29, 1940 – March 21, 2020
Jimmy "Pops" Huett 79 of Benton, passed into the loving arms of his Savior on March 21, 2020. He was born to the late Leo and Annie Lucille Huett in Little Rock, AR. on March 29, 1940.
Jimmy was a Veteran. He was in the Marine Corps and served in Vietnam "ONTOS". Jimmy worked as a floor tech for Stoneybrook in Benton and maintenance for Chenal in Little Rock, AR. He was a council member for Chickamauqe Cherokee tribe in Dardanelle, AR. Jimmy enjoyed bingo, playing skip o, fishing, gardening, yard sales, family time, road trips and hugging his fur babies.
Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Mitzi Huett; sons, James Huett, Jerry Huett and his wife Annie, Richard Putman Huett and his wife Brittany; two daughters, Elisa Berry and her husband Shawn and Tiffany Harris and her husband Jim; sister, Barbra Baker and six grandchildren and a host of family and friends who loved him and will miss him dearly.
The family will hold a service at a later date. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Arkansas Hospice; to the CNA's, nurses, chaplain, social worker, doctors, and all the volunteers.
We are honored to have been with Arkansas Hospice.
The impact you left on me as well as my family from the support that came from your heart. Love gifts given and let me live to the fullest of life. Your care and understanding and leadership was greatly appreciated.
To my children I was honored to be your "Pops" for the love and support and bright hearts that you shown me.
