Joan "Jody" Fortney 71 of Little Rock went to be with the Lord on August 31, 2013 with her family by her side. She was born on April 2, 1942 to the late, Earnest and Laura Stuckey in Mansfield, Ohio. Jody loved to go camping, fishing and playing board games with her family and friends. She retired after 26 years from St. Vincent's as the Dietary Manager; she loved her job very much.
Joan is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl Fortney and her son, Paul Earnest Fortney.
She is survived by her daughter, Jodi Crowder; son, Franklin Fortney; son-in-law, Lonnie Crowder; six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; brother, Benny Stuckey and a host of family and friends who all loved her and will miss her dearly.
