Joane James, 79, of Benton, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018. She was born to Jesse and Viola Day on Monday, August 14, 1939. She loved to bake and decorate cakes. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She was Baptist in faith. She was a Native American and was so proud of her heritage.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Charles Day.

She is survived by her loving husband of 9 years, Stephen James; two daughters; numerous grandchildren; along with a host of friends and family who love and miss her dearly.

The family is holding a private service at a later date.
