JoAnn Shell, 73, of Lonsdale, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022. She was born to the late, Odie and Lizzie Hunnicutt, on Thursday, November 18, 1948, in Benton, Arkansas. JoAnn loved being outside and she loved animals. She was so kind that she raised a baby deer! She enjoyed spending her time playing Bingo, and she used to beg her family to take her. She liked going to Oaklawn from time to time, and her favorite color was purple—not just any purple but a light purple! When she was able, she enjoyed her crossword puzzles. She was a proud homemaker who loved church and her family—especially her grandchildren!

She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Paula Shell; son, George Shell; husband, Tommy Shell; four sisters, Bonnie Smith, Opal Smith, Faye Quinn, and Margie Huchingson; two brothers, Odie and Otis Hunnicutt.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Rebecca Bailey (Raymond); three grandchildren, Renea Brasseal, Raymond-Dale Bailey, and Amber Shell; three great grandchildren, Avarey, Alexis, and Kylie; two sisters, Lavern Bennett (Frankie) and Gracie Price; along with a host of other family and friends who all love her and will miss her dearly.

Celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 7th, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. with the visitation one hour prior at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.
