Jody Doyle Knox, 60, of Sheridan, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, May 22nd, 2022, in Little, Arkansas. He was born to, Edward and Rebecca Knox, on Wednesday, March 28th, 1962, in L.A., California. Jody loved and admired his family. He enjoyed riding his Harley on long rides and participated in the Toy Drive Convoy. He was a former truck driver and a jack of all trades, such as a mechanic, transmission rebuilder, and roofer. His passion was driving racecars and building racecars with his nephews, Jerry and Waylon Johnson. He loved spending time with his son and grandson in the deer woods. He loved and believed in his Savior Jesus Christ.

He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Knox; stepfather, Harvey Freeman; sister, Polly Johnson; son, Jody Doyle Knox II; and his grandparents.

He is survived by his devoted wife of many years, Charlett Knox; his five children, Destanie Mathis, Misty Meredith and her husband, Shane, James Knox and his wife, Kala, Deloris Fulmer and her husband, Jimmy, and Jessica Hammond and her husband, Marcus; eleven grandchildren, Lynzie, Kynzie, Mercedes, Brianna, Daniel, Tiffany, Andrew, Matthew, Ella, Mystic, and Mika; one great grandchild, Christopher James; mother, Becky; four sisters, Molly, Joyce, Toylyn, Helen Freeman; brother, JR Freeman; his children's mother, Debbie Wedge; his nieces and nephews; along with a host of other family and friends who all love him and will miss him greatly.

Celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 27th, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. with the visitation the evening prior from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home. Burial at Ida Mission Cemetery in Little Rock, Arkansas.
