In loving memory of Jody Carol Taylor, age 59, born Sept 10 1954 to the late Aven and Colleen Taylor of Little Rock, Arkansas. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Tammy Ashley-Taylor of East End, Arkansas. He blessed the world with a daughter, Beth (Johnny, Sr) Taylor-Scarberry and sons Joseph (Heather) Taylor, Randy Taylor, Jason Taylor, and Harley (Tasha) Essary all of Little Rock.

He was the 7th child in a loving family of 11, that included four sisters: Laranell Lamproe of East End, AR; Lillie Collins of Bryant, AR; Louise Scarberry, of Little Rock, AR; the late Juanita Verway of Little Rock, as well as five brothers, Ricky Taylor Sr. of Violet Hill, AR; Silas Taylor of Hensley, AR; Daniel Taylor of Texas; the late Jimmy, Randy, and Flint Taylor all of Little Rock.

He was surrounded and loved by twelve grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He left our lives way too soon, but we know he is celebrating with his daddy, momma, sister, and his brothers. It was a blessing to call him husband, daddy, pawpaw, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 6, 2104 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home. With service on Wednesday May 7, 2014 at 11:00 at the Funeral Home
