Joe Vance McCann, 73, of Benton, Arkansas passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, September 24th, 2023. He was born on April 30th, 1950, in England, Arkansas to Clarence and Sybil McCann. Joe loved spending time with his friends and family. He enjoyed hunting, racing, playing a harmonica, and sitting on the porch waving at people who passed by. He also enjoyed walking around and collecting cans. Joe always had the biggest smile in the room.

He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Clarence and Sybil McCann; four sisters, Earlene Southern of Texas, Bobby Jean Morgan of Little Rock, Peggy Fryar of Little Rock, and Nancy McCann of Sherrill; and seven brothers, Fate (Bo) McCann of Little Rock, Omer (Jr) McCann of Georgia, Johnny McCann of Little Rock, Ronald (Red) McCann of Little Rock, Donnie Wayne McCann of Oklahoma, Roy McCann of Little Rock, and Charles (Eddie) McCann of Little Rock.

He is survived by one sister, Judy Fowler of Hensley; one brother, Curtis McCann of Rogers; along with numerous other family and friends who love and will miss him dearly.

A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, September 29th, 2023, the visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M with the service following at 2:00 P.M.at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home at 4212 Hwy. 5 North, Bryant, AR 72022.

A truly deep appreciation to Thomas, Melanie and Christopher McCann for always being there and taking care of Joe.
