Obituary

John Thurston Braddock, 74, of Benton, Arkansas, went to be with Our Lord and his loved ones, July 3, 2016.
John was born Dec. 2, 1941, in Long Beach, California. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Margret Murphy Braddock, Brother Danny Braddock, Sister Judy Aaron, and Grandson William Forrest Braddock.
John graduated May 1971 from Bethany Bible College with a degree in Theology. In 1973, he was the assistant pastor of Hunters Church in Hunters, Washington. He moved to Sikeston in 1975 and pastored a church while working for Sikeston Municipal Power Company where he later retired. John was always ministering to others and spreading the gospel throughout his life. He knew his real home was with the Lord and lived his life as a devout Christian.
He was survived by his wife of 32 years, Olivia Faye Braddock, his 3 children: John Marcus Braddock, Jason Braddock (Braley), and Lynda Fier (Kenny) and his 5 grandchildren, Audrey, Ellyn, Olivia, Addison, and Victoria.
Celebration of life will be held on July 8, 2016 at 12:00 PM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
