John David Parks, 86, of Little Rock passed away on April 26, 2019.  He was born on June 16, 1932 to the late, Tilford and Mary Parks in Ratcliff, Arkansas.  John loved playing music and going fishing.  He was a member of New Beginnings Church.  John proudly served in the United States Navy.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Athalene Parks; two brothers, Nathan and Leo Parks; sister, Ruby Nell; granddaughter, Kristina Moats and great granddaughter, Destiny Deshea Nowlin.

John is survived by his sons, Steven Parks "Lynda" and Dennis Parks; three daughters, Debra Kinchen "Al", Betty Schafer "John" and Mary Castleberry; thirteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; brother, Bobby Parks :Sue; sister, Eva Bell David and a host of family and friends who all loved him and will miss him dearly.
