Johnny Edward Rodgers, 54, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on August 4, 2026. He was born on February 6, 1972, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Paul Rodgers and Verda Ann Davis.

Johnny was a hardworking, free-spirited person who took pride in his work as a painter, a trade he began at a young age. He was loyal to the people he cared about and was someone you could count on to have your back, no matter what. Johnny had a strong personality, a great sense of humor, and a way of doing things that was uniquely his own. If you knew Johnny, you probably heard “cool, cool, cool” more than once and you may have even caught him dancing like he was trying out for a career in breakdancing.

Johnny was loving toward those he cared about and cherished his family and the people closest to him. He will be remembered for his loyalty, his humor, his free spirit, and the love he had for those who mattered most to him.

Johnny was preceded in death by his father, Paul Rodgers.

He is survived by his children, Chase (Hailie) and Emma; his mother, Verda Ann Davis (Dale); his siblings, David, Joey (Jennifer), Cory (Christina), Tina (Todd), and Kelly (Orrin); his nephews, Wesley, Nathan, Nicholas, Braden, Benjamin, Cody and Kyle, Trent; his nieces, Aubrey, Abigail, Rylee, Jaycie, Sierra, and Brittney, and many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at New Hope Church of the Nazarene, 5519 Atwood Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72206.
