Joseph Thomas Christopher Lewis, beloved husband, Father and Pop-Pop, age 68, of Benton passed from this life on July 21, 2010.
Mr. Lewis was born on December 17, 1941 in Baltimore, Maryland to his parents Thomas and Gloria Lewis and was raised by his aunt Grace Gumienny and cousin Anne Weed in upstate New York.
Joe was a veteran of the Army where he served in the Vietnam War. He loved baseball; slot machines and watching his daughter do Tae Kwon Do. He had an exciting life filled with love, laughter and family. His grandson, Caden will always remember his Pop-Pop Joe as his best friend and Mojo and will always be loved by his friends and family both in New Jersey and Arkansas.
Mr. Lewis is survived by his wife, of 39 years, Jacalyn Lewis, Daughter Tiffany Lewis and grandson Caden Mulford.
He is preceded in death by his son, Joseph Lewis, Jr. who died while serving his country.
Graveside services will be held on Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Pinecrest Memorial Park with military honors.
Visitation will be held from 6-8p.m. on Sunday night at Dial & Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant.
