Jule Maxine Ostrem of Bismarck, AR passed away on October 3, 2014. She was born to Nelson and Clara Thompson Norris in Morris, Illinois
She enjoyed bird watching, flowers, sports, and her grandchildren. She retired from St. Joseph's Hospital in Hot Springs after twenty years of service. Jule recently celebrated her twenty year anniversary from receiving a kidney transplant. She became very involved with her friends in the Hot Springs Transplant Group.
She was preceded in death by her husband, of forty years, Paul Ostrem I, and her Parents; Nelson and Clara Norris.
She is survived by three daughters; and one son; Nanette Ferguson, Jennifer (Scott) Gottschalk, Dollie (John) Braslavsky – Carey; son; Paul (Sarah) Ostrem II; twelve grandchildren; Thomas (Kelly) Buchanan, Jessica (Roger) Ferguson, Dean (Jennifer), Amanda, Zion, Moriah, Hannah, Cassia Gottschalk, Matthew Braslavsky. Katelyn, Stephanie, and Chris Ostrem. She is also survived by three sisters, one brother, and eight great grandkids.
She was known and loved by many as "Grammie".
Visitation will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. The family will have a private burial.
