June Huddleston Hicks, 80 of Mabelvale passed away on September 10, 2012 with her family by her side. She was born on November 27, 1931 to the late George and Nell Huddleston in Houston, Texas. June loved being a mother and grandmother; she was not only a grandmother to her own but everyone who knew her considered her their grandmother also. She was a very loving and giving person.
June is preceded in death by her parents and husband, James Lewis Hicks Jr.
Mrs. Hicks is survived by her loving daughter, Laura Ivy (Gish); loving son, James Lewis Hicks (Auneca); six grandchildren, James, Charles, Jason, Jesse, Nicole and Joshua; seven great grandchildren, Jacob, Holly, James, Quentin, Alvin, David and Kiptin; sister, Linde; two brothers, George and John and host of family and friends who all loved her and will miss her dearly.
