Obituary
June Austin (Jim) James, age 82, of Benton, Arkansas, went to be with The Lord on Thursday, February 20, 2014. He was born in Reform, Arkansas on January 7, 1932 to Marshall W. James and Dora Harriet Hogue James.
Jim is survived by his wife of 63 years, JoAnne Rogers James; his son David Alton James (Peggy), his daughter Julie Ann Manuel (John), and his daughter Brenda Carol Wright; his sister Deborah Pannell; his brother, Lamar W. James, 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Marshall W. James, and his mother, Dora Harriet Hogue James; his brother, Jerry D. James (Peggy); and his sister Joanna James Gray.
Jim retired from the nursery growing business. Prior to that, he was Vice President at Commercial National Bank. He also served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.
