Obituary
Katherine F. Thompson, age 84 of Benton, our beloved mother, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on June 15, 2010.
Ms. Thompson was born on January 15, 1926 to her parents Alvin and Lurline English. She was a homemaker who loved to garden, cook and sew.
Katherine is survived by her sons; Micheal Hartman and his wife, Sherry and Steven Thompson and his wife, Julie and her daughters; Cindy Adams and Tammy Henthorne, all of Benton. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Corinna Tedford, Carla Shelnutt and her husband, Doyle, Flint Adams, Clark Henthorne, Will Thompson, Ian Adams, Caitlin Naile and her husband Jonathan, Hannah Adams, Sophie Thompson and Zachary Hartman, along with five great-grandchildren and many other relatives that will miss her dearly.
Ms. Thompson is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dorsey "Tom" Thompson and her son, Conrad Hartman.
A celebration of life will be held for Katherine at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 18, 2010 at the Avilla Zion Lutheran Church in Avilla.
