Kay Porfiris Avery, 68, of Bryant, Arkansas passed away on May 29, 2018. She was born on August 26, 1949 in Washington, D.C. She lived life to the fullest. She loved animals, gardening, and enjoyed working with her hands doing needlepoint and embroidering. She was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Menelaos and Kalliope Porfiris; husband, Tom Avery; two brothers, Nick and Spiro Porfiris; first husband, David Thurber.

She is survived by her loving sister, Johanna Siskos and her husband, Tom; along with a host of family and friends who love and miss her dearly.

A special thanks to her childhood friends, Marilyn and Edward Wirtzfield for all their love and support.

Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 12:00PM at Oakland-Fraternal Cemetery.
