IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kayla Beth
Mitchell Nash
November 30, 1992 – June 22, 2025
Kayla Beth Mitchell Nash, 32, of Alexander, Arkansas was a fierce woman who loved hard and had a smile that could light up any room. Kayla was brought into this world by her father and mother, Paul Dale Mitchell, Jr. and Monica Karin (Pennington) Jennings, on Monday, November 30th, 1992, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Kayla spent some time in Michigan over the years with her family, but overall, being raised in Arkansas is where her story began and where it unfortunately ended.
The world became a little dimmer on Sunday, June 22nd, 2025, as she left this world way too soon and walked through heaven's gate holding her mother and stepfather's hand. Kayla is joined in eternal rest with her loving mother and stepfather, Monica and Michael Jennings; other father, Fred Jones; her brother, Brent St. Amant; and grandparents, Paul Sr. and Terrye Mitchell, Raymond Pennington, and James Robbins.
Above everything else, Kayla loved her family no matter what. Her family and friends were her everything. On her 31st birthday, Kayla married the love of her life, Jodeci Nash. From then on, all of her dreams came true. She was born to be a mother. Being a mother was Kayla's proudest accomplishment. Her compassion and generosity will be her legacy as she tried to instill that in her children, family, and friends. She was always helping people and would go to the ends of the earth for others. If Kayla considered you a friend, that really meant you were family. She loved so deeply.
Kayla also had this contagious laughter. You just couldn't help yourself but laugh if she was laughing. There was never a dull moment when Kayla was around. She loved riding around with her friends. When Kayla wasn't hanging out with friends, on the open road, or being with her family, she was doing what she does best; teaching and caring for children. She worked at a daycare and enjoyed every minute. She found so much joy in playing and teaching the children of this next generation. Her love, compassion, and knowledge will forever be in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Those that had that privilege that are able to cherish her memories and legacy is her loving husband, Jodeci Nash; three beautiful children, Uriyah Banes, Devynn Nash, and Kyla Nash; sisters, Jenna Jones and her husband, Tye Standridge, and Michelle Cantu and her husband, Jose; brother, Mark Robbins; father and stepmother, Paul and Cynthia Mitchell; grandmothers, Jane Pennington and Shirley Peterson; nieces, Camryn, Addilee, Rayna, Oliva, Shantel, Savanah, and Jordyn; nephews, Jacob, Jordan, and Conner; best friends, Torey Kyle and Jerryd Smith; her god children, Brayden and Braelee Smith; along with numerous of family and friends that love her unconditionally and cannot fathom their lives without her.
Kayla was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.
