Keith Alan Lewellen 47 of Mabelvale passed away on Monday, July 20, 2009. Keith was born on November 16, 1961 to Jim and Ruth Lewellen in Marshall, Texas. He enjoyed riding horses and teaching children how to ride. He was a member of two riding associations, West Ark and Mid State. Keith was the founder and owner of Our Kids Furniture World in Benton and spent many years in retail furniture sales. He was currently employed with Cost Plus Furniture Warehouse in Little Rock. His most precious memories was spending time with his family and attending horse shows.

Keith is survived by his loving parents, Jim and Ruth Lewellen; beloved son, Cory Alan Lewellen; sister, Terri Singleton; two brothers, Jimmy and Steve (Barbara) Lewellen; life companion, Darla Lewellen Brooks and numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and a host of special friends who all loved and will miss him greatly.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe and Francis Lewellen and Lathon and Mary Waits.

Visitation will be on Thursday, July 23, 2009 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. A celebration of Keith's life will be held on Friday, July 24, 2009 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Dial and Dudley Funeral Home 4212 Hwy 5 North Bryant 501-847-9099.
