Kenneth "Kenny" Floyd Dempsey 52 of Benton, passed away on Saturday, May 02, 2009. Kenny was a member of New Life Missionary Baptist Church. He loved spending time hunting, fishing and being on the riverbanks. He found his greatest pleasure spending time with his family especially his grandbabies. He was born on May 25, 1956 to Edward and Faye Dempsey in Little Rock, Arkansas

Mr. Dempsey is preceded in death by his father, Edward Hayes Dempsey; his grandparents and niece, Renee Bentley.

Kenny is survived by his loving wife, Linda; mother, Faye; son, Kenneth Charles; daughter, Jesse Pearl Forster (Monroe); two step sons, Robert and Josh Berry; two step daughters, Pamala Salazar (Steve) and Dana Cook; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren and one on the way; two brothers, Troy Charles and Jimmy Dempsey (Joann); sister, Renita Hinley (Paul) and several nieces, nephews and other family and friends who will all miss him dearly.

The family would like to give a very special thanks to all the family who gave such support to Kenny during his illness.
