On April 16, 2015, Kenneth Wayne Hood, went to be with our Lord at the age of 49. "Kenny" a lifelong resident of Little Rock was known for his loveable and charismatic demeanor. He was said to have never met a stranger, and was gifted in showing his love and kindness to all those he encountered. He had a way of making people feel cheerful and happy with his presence alone. He was a devoted Christian, and spent much of his free time in reflection and study. He enjoyed reading, watching movies & golf tournaments, social media, and spending time on the lake with his grandnephew. He was a generous and supportive friend, often helping family, friends, and neighbors with yard work and other tasks to make their life easier. Friends often enjoyed his home-style cooking and being with him while he cheered on the Arkansas Razorbacks. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, John Doris Hood and Lora Lois Hood, his brother Johnny David Hood, sisters Doris Kay Henson, and Mary Elizabeth Mann. He is survived by a daughter, Dr. Elizabeth Stout, his best friend, Gloria Markus, his sister Brenda Linker, brothers Ron Hood & Ricky Hood, his grandnephew Layth Qassas, and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, and friends. He will be dearly missed by those whose lives had been touched by his heart of gold.
A Celebration of life will be held at 1:00p.m, Monday, April 20, 2015 at Fairview Baptist Church in Little Rock.
