Kenneth Ray Jones, 79 of Benton, passed away on August 4, 2017. He was born on January 6, 1938 to the late, Grady and Eva Jones in Conway, Arkansas. He loved spending his time hunting, fishing and with family. He was a lifelong plumber and a member of New Life Pentecostal Church. The Benton Deer Club was like his second family.
He is preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, J. B. Jones, Charles Jones, James Jones, Sonny Jones, Clarence Jones and Wayne Jones; and three sisters, Lucille Ferguson, Fern Benight and Mildred Ausbrooks.
He is survived by his loving children, Kenneth Dale Jones (Melinda), Kim Covert, Christy Sellers (Michael), Bill Ross and Danielle Jones (Bryant); eight grandchildren, Stephanie Jones (Keith), Bridget Jones, Ashley Covert, Mallory Jones, Katelynn Jones, Tyler Sellers, Alyssa Perser and Wyatt Ray Sellers; four great-grandchildren, Makayla Craiglow, Navari Perkins, Dalton Henson and Landon Johnson; his lifelong partner, Teresa Butler; three sisters, Sybil Turner, Sue Yancey and Dorothy Morlan; as well as a host of family and friends who all love and will miss him dearly.
A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home at 2:00PM. Visitation will be the night prior from 6-8PM. In lieu of lfowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
