Kenneth Doyle Long, 97, of Bryant, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2018. He was born to Jesse and Maude Long on Thursday, May 26, 1921 in Thida, Arkansas. He loved to take his grandchildren fishing with him and loved to tell stories. He served as a Deacon at Temple Baptist Church for many years. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was a World War II Veteran.

He is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Etta Long, after 73 years; one brother; three sisters.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Patricia Williams and her husband, Dr. James A. Williams; one grandchild, Marlea Maschmeyer and her husband, Thomas Louis Maschmeyer III; great grandson, William Alexander Maschmeyer; one sister, Loraine Phrene; and a host of friends and family who love and miss him dearly.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 12:00PM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.
