Kim Michael Cates, 55 of Mabelvale, Arkansas passed away November 29, 2017 with his family by his side. He was born to Chaney Cates and Maydell Cates on August 31, 1962 in England, Arkansas. He enjoyed NASCAR, watching Duck Dynasty, and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Barbara Cates; mother, Maydell Cates; three children, Robin Watkins, Andrea Guiltner (Justin), and Stephen Copeland (Brittany); seven grandchildren, Desarae, Kensleigh, Kaydence, Brody, Gage, Keygan, and Josh; Four sisters, Sue Weatherford, Pam Mitchell, Rebecca Ethridge, and Gaylon Sierra; one brother, Randy Cates and a host of family and friends who all love and miss him dearly.

A celebration of life will be held at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 1:00 PM.
