LaPonzie Garrison 69, of Bryant, passed away on October 28, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born on July 1, 1947 to the late, Willie and Helen Jaynes in England, Arkansas. LaPonzie retired from the VA Hospital after many years of employment.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, SFC Gary R. Garrison and two sisters, Thelma and Rosalee.
LaPonzie is survived by her two daughters, Valerie Garrison and Karen Johnson; four grandchildren, Dea, Prometheus, Roeben and Lydia; great grandson, Braylen; brother, Tommy; sister, Shirley and a host of family and friends who all loved her and will miss her dearly.
