Larry Edsel Cross, born on April 23, 1941 in Denmark, Arkansas to Ray and Velva Cross, answered his final call on February 19, 2017 in Bryant, Arkansas. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Ray Cross and Dwane Cross, his step-father Harrison Davis, his infant son Joseph Allen Cross, and his grand-daughter Cheyenne Rose McManigal. Larry is mourned by his loving wife of 56 years, Martha A. Cross, his sister-in-law Mary Cross, his sons Larry Mark and Stephen Cross, daughter Deborah McManigal, daughters-in-law Angel and Jeannie Cross, grandchildren Joey McManigal, Matthew Cross, Thomas Cross, and Ray Cross, great-grandchildren Gavin McManigal and Rexton Hemphill, as well as many extended family members and friends.

Larry was a Little Rock Firefighter for more than 34 years and a member of Geyer Springs First Baptist Church. Visitation will be at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant on February 22, 2017 from 5 to 7:00 p.m. A service will be held at the same location on Feb. 23 at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Pine Crest Memorial Cemetery.
