Larry Kenneth Ellis, age 77, of Alexander, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, October 18th, 2025.

Larry was born in Des Arc, Arkansas, on September 24th, 1948, to Edgar Vernon Ellis and Marion Eloise Ellis. He grew up in Hazen, Arkansas, where he graduated from high school before moving to Memphis for a short time to work. He later settled in Little Rock, where he met and married the love of his life, Shirley Ellis.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Eloise Ellis; grandparents, George and Maude Ellis; two brothers, Gary and Bobby Ellis; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Shirley Ellis, and their two sons, David Dellis (Kyndra) and Larry Lynn Ellis (Kelly); two sisters, Donna Driver (Bill) and Diane Crump (Ronnie); seven grandchildren, Haley (Nick) Ellis, Arian Kiley Rhodes-Dellis, Makenzie (Elijah) Ellis-Mendoza, Daniel Dellis, Aubrey Ellis, Cruz Dellis, and Larry Lynn Ellis Jr.

Larry was also blessed with four bonus grandchildren, Evan Cress, Matthew Cook, Michael Cook, and Evan Jones, along with two great-grandchildren, Walker Ellis and Mateo Mendoza.

Larry's celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 30th, 2025, with his visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. and his service to follow at 11:00 A.M. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.

Larry will be honorably laid to rest at Hazen Cemetery in Hazen, Arkansas following his service.

Due to the distance, there will be no procession to the cemetery. We kindly ask you to join us there where we will be greeted by the military honor guard team.
