Obituary

Larry Joe Linn of Bryant, AR went Home to be with Jesus on Thursday, January 30th at the age of 75. He was born on September 12, 1949 in Van Buren County, Arkansas. Larry was a loving husband and Dad. He passed peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, and a life full of joy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arlie Linn and Virginia Ramey; his son, Micah Linn; and sisters, Bobbie Smith and Sybil Linn.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Linn of Searcy, AR; children, Rhonda McClure and husband Aaron of Mabelvale, AR; Jarrod Linn of Little Rock, AR; Alisha Jones and husband Mark of Searcy, AR; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sister, Jeanette Cranford; and brother, Bennie Linn; a host of nieces, nephews and wonderful friends and family.

Though we miss him immensely, we rejoice in knowing that Larry is now in the presence of The Lord, living in eternal Glory! His life lives on here in the love, laughter and cherished memories.

As a skilled floor covering installer, Larry owned and operated his own business, Double L Carpet Service for many years. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed antique cars, hunting, fishing, and golfing. He was an avid Arkansas Razorbacks Fan.

Larry was a founding member of Hope Alive Church in Mabelvale Arkansas, where he attended services faithfully. He enjoyed working in the church, and was an integral part in the remodeling of the current sanctuary and nursery. Upon surrendering his life to Jesus over two years ago, Larry renounced all ties to the Masonic Lodge/Freemasonry. He loved his church family, who affectionately called him "Pops." Always smiling and telling jokes, he loved to make people laugh. He had an infectious smile, which people said made their day.

He loved all his friends at Fox Ridge Senior Living, Bryant; we send a special thank you to Melanie, Angie, Blair, Aubrey and the entire staff for their genuine love and care they gave to our Daddy.

Celebration of Life service will be Tuesday, February 4, 2025, 3pm, with visitation beginning at 2pm at Hope Alive Church, 23450 N Sardis Rd, Mabelvale, AR 72103. Pastor Aaron McClure will be officiating. And special remarks by his brother-in-law Steve Smith.

Honorary Pallbearers are his grandsons Brandon Fink, Bryan Fink, Nathan Atilano, great-grandson Trey Fink, and brothers in Christ Creighton Crockett, Doug Moore and Ron Pifer.

1 Thessalonians 3:11, "Now may our God and Father Himself, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way to you." Daddy, Your love remains etched in our hearts, and we will be with you in Heaven soon!
