Obituary

Larry Michael Scott, 42, of Benton, Arkansas, passed away on August 26, 2026. He was born on February 23, 1984, in Little Rock, Arkansas, and was the cherished youngest son of Larry Andrew and Carol Ann Scott and a beloved baby brother to his siblings.

Michael was a devoted husband, loving father, loyal brother, and friend to many. He married the love of his life, Nikki Teague, on September 4, 2015. Together, they built a warm and loving home and welcomed two wonderful children, Madison Gray Scott and Cooper Lane Scott.

Being a father was Michael’s greatest joy. His face always lit up when he was with his children, and the love he had for them was evident to everyone who knew him. He treasured time spent with his family and cherished the memories they made together.

Michael worked as a machinist at Parker Hannifin, where he was known for his hard work and dedication. Outside of work, he loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, boating, and riding ATVs. He also had a wonderful sense of humor and had a way of bringing laughter to those around him.

Michael will be remembered for his loving heart, devotion to his family, hard-working spirit, and the laughter he brought into the lives of those who knew him. Though his absence will be deeply felt, the love he gave and the memories he created will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Landon Chance Scott; his father, Larry Andrew Scott; and his grandparents, Arthur Andrew Scott, Norma Jean Scott, Jack Carroll, and Mildred Lee Lane.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Nikki Teague; his children, Madison Gray Scott and Cooper Lane Scott; his mother, Carol Ann Scott; his siblings, Jeannie Leanne Scott-Batohie (Kurt), Sarah Elizabeth Davis (Steven), Cynthia Elaine Perez (Robert), and Christopher Lane Scott; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss him deeply.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 11, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Dial & Dudley Funeral Home.

Memorial service will be held at The Kingdom Hall in Benton, Arkansas on Saturday, September 122,2026, at 3:00 P.M.
