Leo J. Ambort III (Bubba) 58 of Mabelvale passed away on March 24, 2010 peacefully at home with his family by his side. He was born on August 3, 1951 to the late Leo J and Bess H Ambort. Bubba worked as the Purchasing Manager for Smokey Hollow Foods for 18 years and currently was the Purchasing Manager for Odoms Tennessee Pride. He enjoyed hunting, fishing at Lake Ouachita and gardening. Bubba and his wife were produce farmers for many years. His greatest joys in life were spending time with his wife, children and grandkids. He was a charter member of Residents Hunting Club and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Bubba is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Sharon; daughter, Ashley Red and her husband, Shane; son, Eric Leo Ambort and his wife, Alayna; three grandsons, Andrew, Leo and Jack Red; mother in law, Irene H. Porter; sister, Joyce Gerrald; brother, Mark Ambort and many other relatives, coworkers and friends who all loved him and will miss him dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leo J. and Bess H. Ambort and two sisters, Karen A. Carrigan and Regina L. Shoemaker. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 28, 2010 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home 4212 Hwy 5 North, Bryant.
