Linda Carol Aulwes, 69, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on July 24, 2026. She was born on December 2, 1956, in Stockton, California, to the late Richard Blair and Mary (Eason) Blair.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James M. Aulwes; her daughter, Melanie Aulwes York; her parents, Richard Blair and Mary (Eason) Blair; and her sister-in-law, Robin Blair.

She is survived by her loving children, Melissa Norris and husband, Richard, and James P. Aulwes and wife, Dena. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Haley York, Adam York, Cassandra Aulwes, Mason Aulwes, and Elizabeth Kelly. Linda also adored her beloved fur-grandbabies, Sheba, Princess, Harley Quinn, and Loki. She is survived by her siblings, Richard Blair and wife, Charlcie, and Cheryl Allison and husband, Randy, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, adopted children from her many years of school, and countless friends whose lives she touched.

To know Linda was to know unconditional love. Her family was the center of her world, and she never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who always put others before herself. Her daughter lovingly shared that Linda was not only her mother but truly her best friend, always standing by her side when she needed her most.

Linda found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved watching YouTube on her tablet, whether it was farming videos or listening to her favorite music. She enjoyed shopping, even if it was simply to people-watch, and she especially loved visiting the casino to play the slot machines. One dream she held was to visit Las Vegas, a trip she and her daughter always hoped to take together.

She was also well known for her wonderful cooking and was especially remembered for making delicious cakes that brought family and friends together. Linda’s generous heart, warm spirit, and unwavering love for those around her will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Celebrating her life as pallbearers will be Adam York, Jim Aulwes, Richard Norris, Richard Blair, Scott Allison, and Carter Gregory.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, August 3, 2026, with visitation beginning one hour prior at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Friends of the Animal Village in Linda’s honor.
