Linda Sue Thornbrugh, age 65 of Alexander, passed from this life on December 16, 2013, with her family by her side. Linda was born on April 7, 1948 in Little Rock, Arkansas to her parents, Alvin and Elsie Puckett. She enjoyed her time reading, playing bingo and sewing and loved to make things for her friends and family. Her greatest love however was spending time with her family and was a loving wife and mother.
Linda is survived by her husband of 33 years, James Thornbrugh along with her children; Nancy Puckett, of Alexander, George Bearden, of Wisconsin, and Melinda Lehman, also of Alexander. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Leroy Lehman, Candace Ivy, James Bearden, Yalinda Alsup and Rita Lehman. Along with her great-grandchildren; Trey Ivy, Nevaeh Ivy, and Walker, Dominic and Courtney Alsup
Mrs. Thornbrugh is preceded in death by her father, and two daughters; Patricia Diane Meeks and Margeret Bearden. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Gloria Williams.
Celebration of life will be held for Linda at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Dial & Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant, 501-847-9099, with burial to follow at Butler Cemetery.
