Lonnie Elbert Cole, age 81, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on November 5, 2024. He was born to Grover and Laura Cole on September 30, 1943 in Levy, Arkansas.

Lonnie was a proud 1963 graduate of Central High (Tigers). He made great accomplishments playing football and was accepted to Boys State. Lonnie was very passionate about music, and formed the band The Light Brigade with his brothers, Ray and Dean. They traveled Arkansas and several other surrounding states performing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Laura Cole; brother, Dean Cole, and his heavenly baby brother; son, Richard Keith Cole.

Lonnie is survived by his daughter, Lisa Brawley (Dedee); grandchildren, Lindsey Cole (Matt), Leslie Cole (Chance), Laurn Brawley, and Brittni Taskey (David); brother, Ray Cole (Gerry); along with a host of family and friends who love him and will miss him dearly.

Celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 2:00 P.M.at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.
