IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lorna Jane
Holladay
October 10, 1952 – May 4, 2025
Lorna Jane Seals Holladay, 72, of Benton, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, May 4th, 2025, and was born on Friday, October 10th, 1952, in Sacramento, California.
She moved to Arkansas in 1972, where she began building a life centered on family, hard work, and community. Lorna was the devoted mother of Corey Holladay and Chad Holladay (Jodi), and the proud grandmother of Hannah Lindsley (Luke) and Will Holladay.
She is preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Kimberly Holladay; her parents, Lonnie and Codie Seals; and her brothers, Marvin Hicks and Jim Seals.
Lorna is also survived by her siblings, Glenda Dillon, Lonnie Seals, Chuck Seals, Bill Seals (Sandee), John Seals, and Emily Foley.
She is lovingly remembered by her niece, Nikki Sanders; and great-nephews, Chance Engstrom (Sara-Lydia and Arlo), Cameron Engstrom (Kassy), and Conlan (Lyn) Engstrom, who each held a special place in her heart as well as other nieces and nephews.
Lorna held several jobs throughout her life before discovering her true calling as an escrow officer. She built a respected career working for American Abstract, Beech, and later retired from Lenders Title Company. Her commitment to her work was matched by her dedication to living fully and actively. An avid walker, Lorna was a familiar and friendly face on the streets of Benton, often walking 20 to 50 miles each week. Upon retiring, she became a vibrant part of the Benton Senior Center community, where she filled her days with beanbag baseball, chair volleyball, pickleball, and exercise classes. Her enthusiasm and competitive spirit led her to represent Saline County in the Senior Olympics just last year, an achievement that brought her great pride. Lorna's life was marked by resilience, warmth, and a deep connection to the people and places she loved. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, kindness, and spirited determination.
Lorna's memorial service will be held on Monday, May 12th, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home: 4212 Highway 5 N, Bryant, Arkansas 72022.
