Lucy Olene "Johnson" Copeland 76 of Benton was called home by the Lord on July 6, 2015 with her family by her side. She was born on April 19, 1939 to the late, Jesse and Rachel Johnson in Dumas, Arkansas.
Sister Lucy is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Riley Junior Copeland; daughter, Lisa Copeland; five brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her sons, Lonnie Copeland and Stephen Copeland; daughters, Sandra Louise Shadell and Gail Copeland Fell; nine grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; brothers, Mike Ashcraft and Randy Johnson and sister, Kathy Rangel.
Sister Lucy is also survived by her brothers and sisters in Christ, Pastor George Mutton and his wife, Mary and Sister Sue Reedy.
Services will be held at Life Tabernacle Pentecostal Church in Jacksonville on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 2:00 PM with visitation one hour prior, where she was a founding member for 49 years. Pastor Tim Copeland will be officiating. Burial will follow at Harmony Cemetery on Hwy 89 in Jacksonville. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorials be made to Life Tabernacle Pentecostal Church 23903 Hwy 107, Jacksonville, AR 72076.
