Madeline LaFern Kerr, age 81 of Mabelvale, passed from this life on December 28, 2014.
Mrs. Kerr was born on August 8, 1933 in North Little Rock to her parents, William and Madeline Mercer.
She ejoyed drinking coffee, watching Days of Our Lives, cooking, looking at old pictures, reminiscing and spending time with her grandchildren.
Madeline is survived by her husband of 58 years, David Eugene Kerr, Sr., along with three children; David E. Kerr, Jr., Doug Kerr and his wife, Teri of Benton and Annette Kerr-Horn and her husband, Michael of Little Rock. She is also leaves behind five grandchildren; Zachary, Ethan and Brian kerr, Kelsi Yarberry and Emily Horn, one great granddaughter, Maci Martin. She is also survived by her sister, Emily Wright and two sister-in-laws; Jean Mercer and Ruby Ham, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, William Mercer.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at New Hope Nazarene Church with Bro. George Yarberry officiating.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.
