Marie Browning 80 of Benton, passed away October 1, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born on April 6, 1936 to the late, W. L. and Ada Bell Barnett in Mountain Valley, Arkansas. Marie enjoyed playing bingo, dancing, fishing and spending time with her family. She retired from Lake Catherine Footwear after 22 years of employments, then she worked St. Joe Hospital for 9 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Geraldine Barnet, Juanita Smith and Margie Wallace.
Marie is survived by her loving husband of sixty four years, David Browning; two sons, Randy Browning (Wanda) and Steve Browning (Laura; daughter, Annitta Parsons (Carlton); fifteen grandchildren, Steve Jr., Jason, Amanda, Travis, Jacob, Brandon, Nicole, Natalie, Tommy, John, Glenn, Freddy, Billy, Jerry and Beth; twenty five great-grandchildren; one great, great grandchild; brother, Ray Barnett (Sue); and a host of family and friends who loved her and will miss her dearly.
A celebration of life will be Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 5, from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
