Mark J. Block II, Born August 8, 1957, of Scott, Arkansas, left us to be with his Father in Heaven August 18th, 2010.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mark J. Block Sr. and Sibyll Griffith Block, his paternal grandparents, Raymond and Helene Block, his maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Ruby Hester. Mark is survived by his loving wife, Ann Hunt Block, his children, Julie Block Howard and Mark J. Block III, his stepdaughter, Danielle Beaubouef, two grandsons, Cole Anthony Howard, and London Joseph Beaubouef. Mark is also survived by his sisters, Robin Block Ramsey and her husband, Randy of Benton, Tamalyn Block Wortham and her husband, Danny of Rosebud, their daughters, Kimberly Ramsey and Krystal Wortham Mathys.

Mark served as an Emergency Medical Technician, he later ran his own Private Investigative business, Block Investigations. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and he dearly loved the outdoors especially all God's creatures. He was a warm and caring man, with a quick and quirky wit that always brought a smile. He will be sorely missed by us all as we loved him very much. He will be remembered...

A small family memorial service was held on Saturday August, 21, 2010. Officiated, by Brother Mike Morrison of Freewill Baptist Church of Rosebud, Ark.
