Martha Carter 68, of Benton passed away on February 2, 2017 with her family by her side. She was born on July 18, 1948 to the late, James and Corine Goforth in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Martha enjoyed listening to Elvis and spending time with her family. She was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Sam and Jerry Goforth.
Martha is survived by her daughters, Sherry Cook, Tina Johnson, and Angela Almstrom; grandchildren, Bailey, Brooklyn, Dylan, Justin, Joey Jr., Matthew Chase, Casey and Jason; nine great grandchildren and a host of family and friends who all loved her and will miss her dearly.
