Martha Nell Franklin (Wilson), 92, of Little Rock passed away July 26, 2024 at home with her family by her side. Martha was born January 13, 1932 to the late Willis Jennings and Ethel Wilson in Boughton, Arkansas. Martha retired from AT&T (Teletype) after a few years of disability from multiple back surgeries.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years: James L. Franklin Jr., her parents, four brothers; Carroll, Bobby, Eric and Billy Tom and a sister; Barbara Ann, a grandson; Christopher Shaw and two sons-in-law.

She is survived by three daughters, Rhima Cotton(James), Nancy Potts, Lisa Loe(Randy); a son Yancy Franklin (Angelica); twelve grandchildren, Shawn(Dean), Trey, Mark, Lyndsey, Angi(Joe), Salena(Drew), Misty(Kyle), Mitchel, Caleb, Amanda, Martha(Steve) and Shelby(Jacob); fifteen great grandchildren and many children that knew her as Aunt Nell that she babysit for many years and a host of family that knew her as Sissy and friends that loved her dearly. The family is especially beholding to double cousin Tori George for her angelic help in caring for Martha and niece Michele Blakely for sharing needed equipment she had.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Mabelvale Church of Christ at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior at 10:00 AM. There will be a second memorial service on August 1, 2024 at Bluff City Church of Christ at 1:00 PM with visitation one hour prior at 12:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either church.
