Marvin Leo Taylor, 91, of Cookville, Texas went to his heavenly home on Saturday, June 1, 2019 with his loving family by his side.  He was born on May 31, 1928 to the late, Audry and Glenna Taylor in Cookville, Texas.  He was a diesel mechanic with ABF until his retirement and an excellent carpenter.  He was a member of Cookville Church of God of Prophecy for over 24 years.  Marvin loved his family and was always willing to help anyone in their time of need.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, James Taylor; grandson, Deputy Clifton Taylor; brother, Buddy Taylor and sister, Margaret Dawson.

Marvin is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Margaret Taylor; sons and daughters-in-laws, Mike and Patty Taylor, Larry and Judy Taylor, Randy and Rebecca Taylor, and Casey and Jodi Taylor; and Tom and Linda Arreguin; was a beloved grandfather to twelve grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren and a host of family and friends who all loved him and miss him dearly.

Pallbearers will be Joe Taylor, Michael Taylor, Chris Taylor, Travis Taylor, Caleb Arreguin, and Preston Johnson.  Honorary pallbearer, John Paul Taylor.

Celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. with the visitation from 12:00-2:00 P.M. prior to the service at Cookville Church of God of Prophecy 1258 CR 4045 Cookville, Texas 75558.  Burial will follow at Phillips Taylor Cemetery.
