Obituary

Mary Elizabeth Anderson of Lonoke went to be with the Lord with her loving family by her side on April 28, 2020, at the age of 50 years young.

Elizabeth found true peace and happiness in life when she married the love of her life, Mike Anderson. Together, they made a loving home in Lonoke with their sons, Cody and Hunter Heifner. One of Elizabeth's true joys was rescuing and caring for her beloved cats, dog, and any other of God's creatures that found their way to her doorstep. Another one of Elizabeth's greatest joys was to shower those she loved—especially her children and great nieces and nephew— with gifts at birthdays, Christmas, and Easter. But her greatest joy in life was her family. She was deeply in love with and devoted to her adoring husband Mike, and he to her. He exhibited his selfless love to her by fighting for what was best for his wife until the very end. Her sons, Cody and Hunter, and her daughter Brittany were her greatest accomplishments in life. Her love for them will endure forever. The legacy she leaves behind to her family is that you will never regret being kind or extending and accepting forgiveness. In the end, all that matters in life is the love.

She is survived by her husband, Mike Anderson of Lonoke, and her three children, Brittany Weaver (Dylan) of Hot Springs, and Cody and Hunter Heifner of Lonoke. She is also survived by her beloved brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Tina Milligan of Benton, who raised her as their own and were by her side until she took her last breath. And, she is survived by her sister Donna Cobb (Jim) of Wagoner, Oklahoma. Additionally, she is survived by her niece Tiffany Brown (Chad) of Benton, who loved her like a sister, and her great nieces and nephew, Jackson, Gabby, and Gracie Brown, whom she adored and spoiled endlessly.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ira Mae Milligan, and father, Lee Jake Milligan.  She is also preceded in death by Edna Mae Summers and George W. Summers, who accepted her and treated her as a cherished granddaughter and whom she loved as grandparents in return.

She knew her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and is with Him now.  A private memorial will be held at a later date.
