Mary Evelyn Burgess Walker, also known as "Pee-Wee", passed away October 26, 2018. She was born on November 21, 1952 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Smith (Smitty) and Susie Burgess. After retiring from Kroger, Mary enjoyed cooking, baking and watching the Arkansas Razorbacks. She had love of butterflies and she enjoyed spending time with her family. Mary is proceeded in death by her parents and her husband, Doc Walker. She is survived by two sons, Dan Ward and wife Heather, James Ward; two brothers, Jimmy Burgess and Smitty Burgess and wife Becky; one sister, Patsy Moore; five grandchildren, Austin, Haley, Trevor, Blake and Carter Ward and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Though Mary will be greatly missed, she is now where she has wanted to be for so long. She's sitting in Heaven holding Doc's hand and she feels no pain. A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 6PM-8PM at Dial and Dudley.
