Mary Kathryn Thomas Johnson was born in Shirley, Arkansas on April 29th, 1935, to Joe and Clara Harness. She was the youngest of 9 children. She gained her heavenly reward on November 24th, 2023. She was surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Mary was kind, generous, and hard working. She was known by many names, she was Momma, Aunt Mary, Aunt what about me, Ms. Mary, Granny Red, Nena, and Nene. She lived her life so others could see Christ through her. She loved every person as if they were family. She'd always say, "pretty is what pretty does". She believed that beauty was not on the outside, but how you treated people. Mary is survived by her son and daughter in law Randy and Kathy Thomas of Bee Branch, AR her daughter Cathy Brown of Benton AR, and her grandchildren Caleb Brown (Hillary), Jeremy Brown (Bethany), Hunter Brown (Kayla), Hannah Brown, Julianna Brown, and Emily Thomas all of Benton AR. She was also survived by her 5 great grandchildren who brought great joy.

Her visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 28th, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.

Her celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 29th, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home with everyone meeting at Bethel Cemetery in Sheridan following the service.
