Heaven welcomes Matthew Dean Taylor, dear son, brother, father, and friend. Matthew, 54, of Mabelvale, went home to the Lord on March 6, 2010. He is remembered as a wonderful son, the best brother one could imagine, and a charismatic, intelligent, and thoughtful son of God. Matthew, born September 15, 1955, is remembered by his father, Mr. Kenneth J. Taylor, his sisters Susan Gail Taylor Gernenz and Kay Ann Jordan, his brother Steven Dale Taylor, four sons, two brothers-in-law, one sister-in-law, a niece and a host of nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother Mrs. Carol Ann Taylor. Matthew was an example of benevolence, strength and wisdom. He helped care for his baby sister when their mother died in 1988, was always the source for boisterous, witty repartee and stories, and could always be counted on to lend a hand, be a shoulder to cry on or bring a smile to his loved ones' faces. Matthew took great pleasure in reading and caring for his family's beloved dogs. The Taylor family is heartbroken, but rejoices in the fact that Matthew knows no pain and is in Heaven with his mother and the Lord. Cremation arrangements have been made under the direction of Dial & Dudley Funeral Home. To sign Matthew's guest book, visit www.dialanddudleyfuneralhome.com.
