Maurine Glenda Taylor, 79, of Mabelvale, Arkansas passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, May 3, 2023. She was born to the late, William Henry and Bertha Gladys (Dinsmore) Hopkins, on Friday, February 11, 1944, in England, Arkansas. Maurine loved spending time with her family—especially being with her grandkids. They were the light of her life! She was so proud of each and every one of them and they were always the topic of her conversations. She cherished them. She loved God with all her heart and enjoyed time in fellowship at church. She also loved her dogs.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Bertha Hopkins; husband, Lloyd Taylor; four children, Danny, Billy, Ricky, and James; three brothers, Billy, Buddy, and Cecil.

She is survived by her daughter, Glenda (Kenneth) Humphrey; one son, Bobby (Shelley) Everett; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; nineteen great great grandchildren; one brother, Alton Hopkins; along with a host of other family and friends who all love and miss her dearly.

Celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, May 10th, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. with the visitation one hour prior at Christ Church in Alexander, Arkansas.
