Maxine Pearl Tutor, 74 of Little Rock, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 26, 2016. She was born May 20, 1942 to Max Bishop and Ethel Lunsford Bishop in Little Rock.
Maxine was a retired Registered Critical Care Nurse of forty years and a longtime resident of the Landmark Community. She was a proud member of New Hope Church of The Nazarene on Atwood Road.
Maxine was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, W.F. Singley; sister, Virginia Riley; and granddaughter, Raychel Davis.
She is survived by a sister, Mary Lee (David); two daughters, Tina M. Davis and Janet F. Benson White; two sons, James Benson Jr. (Carol) and Stephen Clark Benson; eleven grandchildren, Michael, Chris, Brandy, and Billy White, Shaina Tippitt, Jessica, Jenny, Brittany, Stephen, Stephanie, and Payton Benson; friend, Roger Clay Tutor who she loved for many years, her church family, nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends who loved her and will miss her dearly.
A celebration of life will be on Friday, July 1, at 2:00 PM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
