Melva Scarberry 68, of Mabelvale passed away on February 20, 2017 with her family by her side. She was born on October 24, 1948 to the late, Melvin and Minnie Harrell in Eureka, California. Melva was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Her life was centered on her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her late husband, of 40 years, Henry Scarberry.
Melva is survived by her loving daughter, Tanya Cole (Mark); three grandchildren, Noah, Camden and Hollynn; special daughter,
Barbara Lewellen (Steve); nine special grandkids that she loved as her own, Megan, Andy, Bradly, Hayden, Kaylee, Rose, Catherine, Harmony and Skylee; brother, George Hemphill; brother-in-law's, Joe Scarberry (Virginia) and Donald Scarberry (Sharrol);sister-in-law, Sara Whitt; aunt, Nell Loflin and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends who all loved her and will miss her dearly.
Celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant with burial to follow at Kennerly Cemetery in Roland.
