Jimmy "Melvin" Wilkerson, 85, of Hensley, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021. He was born to the late, George and Dorothy Wilkerson, on Monday, April 27, 1936, in Hensley, Arkansas. He was a member of Barnett Memorial. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching John Wayne movies, and fixing old cars. He was most passionate about being with his family and friends though. He loved them deeply and always showed up.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Georgia Wilkerson; four brothers; three sisters; and grandson, Spencer Grant.

He is survived by his three children, Pamela Grant (Steven), Jeff Wilkerson, and Penny Harbison; nine grandchildren, Elizabeth, Joshua, Allen, Ashley, Bryce, Austynn, Jrace, Alek, and Jaylee; ten great grandchildren, Zora, Connor, Brenden, Walker, Lyric, Adaley, Ayden, Maddox, Cayden, and Paisley; two sisters, Sadie Perkins and Marilyn Griffis; along with a host of family and friends who all love him and will miss him dearly.

Celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 8th, 2021, at 12:00 P.M. with the visitation one hour prior at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home.
