IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michael Robert
Woods
April 7, 1974 – November 22, 2025
Michael Robert Woods, lovingly known by many as "Mighty Michael Woods," 51, of Mabelvale, Arkansas, passed away on November 22, 2025. He was born on April 7, 1974, in Little Rock, Arkansas, and spent his life devoted to the people he loved and the values he lived by every day.
Michael was a profoundly selfless man, the first to show up when someone needed a hand, and the last to ever ask for anything in return. He lived with a quiet strength and steady integrity that made him the pride and joy of his parents from the very beginning.
He was the unwavering rock of his family. He never missed one of his boys' baseball games. He taught them to hunt, to work hard, and to carry the same sense of responsibility and kindness that guided his own life. He was endlessly proud of the men they are becoming, and he cherished every moment he spent with them.
To his wife, Amy, he was the most patient and loyal husband. A man who loved her so deeply that he always, without fail, gave in whenever she brought another dog home. Their life together was built on love, steadiness, and the quiet, unshakeable strength he brought into every moment. To her, he was always Mighty Mike, and he lived up to that name every day of their life together.
Michael was employed by Arkansas Service One, where the people he worked with became his extended family. He was admired by the men who worked alongside him and respected for his hard work, reliability, and character.
He is survived by his loving wife, Amy Woods, and their sons, Lakin and Owen Woods. He is also survived by his parents, Gary and Sherry Woods, and his mother-in-law, Wanda Pounds.
Michael was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Billy Bob Pounds; his grandparents, William and Gertrude Woods; and Virgil and Marie Tipton.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 1:00 PM, followed by a service at 2:00 PM, at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home in Bryant, Arkansas.
Michael leaves behind a legacy of generosity, integrity, and unwavering love - qualities he lived, taught, and passed on to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
