Obituary

Mildred Louise Jessen Dunn, born August 11, 1925 in Mountain View, Arkansas departed this life to be with the Lord on June 4, 2016 in Bryant, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Buck Dunn, her son Ernie (Danny) Dunn and her grandson John P. Dunn.
She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Dunn Luna of Glendale, Arizona, her great-granddaughter, Alyssa Dunn and her adopted family Deborah and Greg Minor, all of Little Rock, Arkansas and six sisters, Juanita Kendrick, Mary Edwards, Gladys Williams, Louise Horton, Linda Jackson and Betty Fahey and a host of family and friends who all loved her and will miss her dearly.
Mildred lived in Wynne raising her family all of her adult life. She was the longest state employee in Arkansas history being the Senior County Clerk of Vital Records for the Cross County Health Department. After the death of her husband, Buck Dunn, she moved to Bryant and acquired new friends and a new church family.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that a donation of any kind be sent to the Senior Adult Program at the Indian Springs Baptist Church, 23581 1-30, Bryant, Arkansas.
Special thanks for all the care and love given to our mother and including
Gail, Jessikah, Della and Devona. Service on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Indian Springs Baptist Church. Burial at Cogbill Cemetery in Wynne at 1:00 PM.
